About the Project

CRGA was responsible for the design and construction of the Electrophysiology Lab Renovation Project at the Washington Hospital Center. This project was divided into two distinct components.

The first deals with the renovation of four existing procedure rooms including complete equipment replacement for each room. This work also required minor modifications to adjacent support spaces and totals approximately 3,205 square feet. Detailed coordination was required between architect, engineer, and equipment manufacturer in order for the existing procedure rooms to successfully accommodate the new equipment.

The second component of the project concerns a feasibility study for the expansion of the electrophysiology suite into approximately 1,905 square feet of available adjacent space. This area is designated for a future patient prep/recovery area that will provide eight patient bays with appropriate support functions.
