About the Project

Formerly the Magnolia Center, this nursing care and rehabilitation facility is approximately 72,700 building gross square feet (BGSF) and is one story.  It is located on a site immediately adjacent to Doctors Community Hospital.  A total of 130 patient beds were provided in both private and semi-private rooms.  The beds are located in two units, including a transitional care unit and a long-term care unit.  Each of these units is subdivided into two units, each containing nursing stations, dayrooms and other support spaces.  The center section of the building contains a large therapy gym, other patient support spaces, a lobby/reception area, administrative offices, a central kitchen and a number of other “back of the house” spaces. In addition to the architectural services provided by our firm, CRGA provided interior design services utilizing our in-house interior design staff.
