OUR APPROACH TO

Senior Living

In all aspects of senior environments, from independent living to assisted living to memory care, we at CRGA design for capability rather than disability.  Simple things like quality lighting, appropriate use of color/contrast and an orderly layout of space can make a difference. It is our responsibility as designers to assure that the spaces we create will allow the residents to be as independent as possible for as long as possible.

Armed Forces Retirement Home

Washington, D.C.

The Armed Forces Retirement Home provides residences and related services for certain retired and former members of the U.S. Armed Forces. Thousands of former US military service members have enjoyed a safe and secure retirement at this campus. CRGA provided interior design services for The Scott Project, which replaced an existing facility by providing new skilled nursing facilities and community-wide health and wellness facilities for the entire Armed Forces Retirement Home campus. See project.

DOCTORS COMMUNITY REHABILITATION AND PATIENT CARE CENTER

Lanham, Maryland

This nursing care and rehabilitation facility has a total of 130 private and semi-private patient rooms within its transitional care unit and long term care unit. Each of these units is subdivided into two units, each containing nursing stations, dayrooms and other support spaces. The center section of the building contains a large therapy gym, a lobby/reception area, administrative offices, a central kitchen, and other support spaces. In addition to the architectural services provided by our firm, CRGA provided interior design services utilizing our in-house interior design staff. See project.

Ginger cove

Annapolis, Maryland

When Ginger Cove decided to add an assisted living component to their facility, CRGA worked with their leadership to develop 30 assisted living apartments and associated shared living facilities.
